Newbie

So, I'm Anna, otherwise known as Scully. I recieved this nickname due to my appearance likeness to Gillean Anderson. I don't see it, but whatev. I am an airtraffic controller. And, I use this term loosely, as I am a ramp controller at Seatac airport. My husband is the "real" air traffic controller of the house. He works at SEA approach, and it's a very stressful job. I just push tin around so they can either, get to the gate, or go for departure. With that said, most of my stress is dealing with pilots, and their whiny asses.....I'm a realist, I tell it like it is, and I may offend. Frankly, I DON"T GIVE A FLYING MONKEY"S ASS! Don't like it? Don't read it.

I am working shift number 5 of my week....on my mid. Bored and not much traffic happening, so here I am. Today, in my 6-2 shift, it went fairly well. A few stupids scattered here and there, but I suppose that's what keeps it interesting.

My DH (dear husband), has been working feaverishly to get his brandspankily new HD 47" flat screen TV installed to replace the plasma that we are going to take to the Mineral house. Yes, folks, that's a destination in Washington you shouldn't miss. Mineral: ghost town, one gas pump, one grocery store, one post office, one bar, and one American Legion post...oh yes, and lest not forget, not one, but two...churches for said ghost town. What a trip this place is. We've become "celebrity like" when we arrive at the bar on Wednesday's for taco Wednesday. Anywho...quite an intriguing place. You have to know, the people that do live here, are characters in their own right. There is a lake, and there is fishing in the summer. Other than that...not much to be said for Mineral. DH loves it there...he totally decompresses . We are redoing our house there. Purchased from one old lady with 10 cats...so we've had to gut the whole thing and put it back together. Humpty dumpty is about half done.
